A 5" or 7" potted Philodendron Birkin plant in our hand-made cream planter or cement planter.
How to care for your new Philodendron Birkin plant:
SUN
Philodendron Birkin's prefer very bright, indirect light. While they can survive in medium light conditions, if placed there their growth may slow. The variegation on its leaves will be more pronounced in higher light. It is recommended to not put it in full, direct sunlight as it will burn the foliage.
WATER
When watering, allow the top layer of the soil to dry out between. Soil should remain damp, but not wet.
HUMIDITY
Regular household humidity is fine for your Philodendron Birkin, but higher humidity encourages larger leaves. We recommend regularly misting your plant.
TEMPERATURE
These plants do best in warmer temperatures. Keep it away from drafts, especially during the winter months.
TIPS
If you notice your plants leaves beginning to turn yellow your plant is most likely being watered too much. Reduce the amount of water your plant is given and increase the humidity levels. Another symptom of yellowing leaves is improper light; make sure your plant is receiving the proper amount of bright indirect sunlight.
However if your plants leaves begin to curl; it is most likely that it is not receiving enough water. Keep a consistent watering schedule.
These plants are mildly toxic to pets and humans when ingested.
