A potted 7" Olive Plant.
While Olive Plants are typically an outdoor plant, with the right environment it can be grown successfully indoors. These popular plants require minimal care; but their growth is dependant on it receiving the correct amount of sunlight, air and movement.
How to care for your new Olive Plant:
LIGHT: Olive plants love lots of bright sunlight. Ideally place your new plant in a sunny south facing window where it can get an ideal amount of 6 hours of sunlight a day.
WATERING: Olive trees grow slowly, especially in fall and winter, so avoid overwatering. Allow the top inch of soil in the pot to try out in between waterings. Since olive trees aren't used to being watered regularly, giving it a good amount of water infrequently will help rehydrate them.
HUMIDITY: Olive trees are native to the Mediterranean, so they can tolerate dry air. Most won't need any additional humidity in your home.
Additional Care Tips: These plants need fresh air. It is recommended to place it near a sunny window or taking it outside during warmer months or when watering.
